Shirehampton School Uniform
At Shirehampton Primary School, we believe that wearing school uniform helps to create a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. We ask all children to wear the correct school uniform and appreciate the support of parents and carers in helping to maintain our high standards.
Everyday Uniform
- Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without the school logo)
- White/navy or light blue polo shirt or white shirt
- Grey or black trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress
- Blue and white gingham dress (summer option)
- Black school shoes (black trainers are acceptable)
PE Kit
- House colour T-shirt (The colour of the t-shirt represents the colour of the House every child is placed in: Cheng Ho (green), Estervanico (yellow), Sir Francis Drake (blue) and Louise Boyd (red).
- Black shorts
- Black or navy jogging bottoms/leggings (for colder weather)
- Trainers
- School fleece
Branded Uniform
Branded uniform is available from our uniform supplier; however, children are welcome to wear plain royal blue sweatshirts or cardigans without the school logo.

We understand that children grow quickly and are mindful of the cost of school uniform. Branded items are optional, and most uniform can be purchased from a wide range of high street retailers.
Jewellery and Personal Belongings
For health and safety reasons:
- Jewellery should be kept to a minimum.
- Stud earrings only.
- Earrings should be removed or taped for PE.
- Long hair should be tied back where appropriate.
- Children should not bring valuable items into school.
Labelling Uniform
Please ensure that all clothing, shoes, bags and water bottles are clearly named.
This helps us return lost property quickly.

FofSPS sell second-hand uniform to help towards raising funds for the school.
Items with the school logo are priced at £1 and all other items at 50p.
