Our vision, Learn – Aspire – Achieve, is at the heart of life at Shirehampton Primary School.
We want every child to develop a love of learning, have high aspirations for themselves and feel confident that, with support, determination and perseverance, they can achieve their potential.
Our vision is underpinned by seven values which shape the way we learn, work and treat one another across our school community.

We want children to be curious, engaged and enthusiastic learners who develop the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to succeed.
Aspire
We encourage children to have high expectations of themselves, discover their strengths and interests and believe in what they can achieve.
Achieve
We support and challenge every child to make progress, overcome barriers and experience success, recognising that achievement looks different for every individual.
Together, Learn – Aspire – Achieve reflects our commitment to ensuring that children leave Shirehampton with strong foundations for the next stage of their education and confidence in themselves as learners.

At Shirehampton Primary School, we aim to:

The Story Behind Our Logo
Our vision and values were originally developed with the whole school community in 2012.
As part of this work, children were invited to design a new school logo which represented the present and future of Shirehampton Primary School.
The winning design was created by pupil Elena Woolley and became our school logo and badge. It continues to represent Shirehampton Primary School and our shared vision:
